Ortman Family Vineyards specializes in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other artisan wines from remarkable vineyards on California’s Central Coast. Our wines are made by the father-and-son team of Chuck Ortman and Matt Ortman, advancing a family winemaking tradition that spans four decades. Together, they subscribe to the acclaimed “Ortman style,” which emphasizes richness, balance and cuisine compatibility.

We are based in San Luis Obispo County, in the heart of the Central Coast wine country, where we have been making wine for 25 years. We work with a small “family” of local winegrowers whose vineyards are distinguished by progressive viticulture, exceptional terroir and world-class fruit. These sites include Fiddlestix Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills, Salisbury Vineyard in the Avila Valley, Firepeak Vineyard in the Edna Valley, and Margarita Vineyard in Paso Robles.
