Cathedral Ridge Winery

Owners:
Robb Bell
Location:
Hood River, Oregon

Grapes are like your fat uncle Louie: they hate to travel. The perfect grape would just sit in a recliner and watch Three’s Company until it melted into wine. That’s something that Cathedral Ridge knows for certain.

Perfectly placed just west of the Hood River, Cathedral Ridge has the rainfall that lets them properly cultivate grapes from the four great European regions, right in their backyard. They pick, transport, crush and tank, all within about six hours. Under the fourth-generation winemaker’s eyes of Michael Sebastiani, the whole process is focused on bringing out the very best in each cantankerous, agoraphobic grape, creating an excited wine that just can’t WAIT to travel across the country and meet you!
